The nymphing has been extremely productive the last few days and the dry fly fishing has been very good too with the cloud cover and rain.
They started bringing the river back up to get to its pre-rain storm level and the streamer fishing was as good as it’s ever been. Maybe it’s all the browns on the banks waiting for the baetis hatch or just the extra water making them a little hungier, but the fish were after big meals yesterday.
