The wind is still making for some interesting days on the river as fronts move through.
Despite the wind, the nymph fishing is still solid with a variety of sow bugs and midges. Grey, tan and pink variations of sow bugs are working well. Lots of dark midge pupa around in black, brown and olive along with some olive and red pupa being found in samples.
Bigger fish are starting to get a little more aggressive and beating the first year class of browns that are everywhere to the fly.
