Big Horn River Fishing Update

Bighorn River Rainbow Trout

Rainbow That was Fond of the Home Invader

With another round of nice weather this weekend the Bighorn continued to fish very well.  Fish continue to remain stacked up in slower inside bends or in the slow “guts” of the runs.  The midge hatch has been fairly consistent each day.  The fish seem to be responding to them and feeding on the surface in certain areas, more so on cloudy overcast days.  Look for single midges and midge clusters both throughout the day.  Streamers are still providing consistent action throughout the river.
