The maintenance work scheduled for Afterbay and Three Mile accesses has been postponed by the Park Service after a lot of recent input. We want to thank everyone that took immediate action after this was sprung upon the Bighorn fly fishing community so suddenly. Especially the quick support we received from senators Tester and Baucus. Without all the support, outreach and support these closures would have been extremely detrimental to anglers and local business alike.
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 17th in Ft Smith.
The work will eventually be done but both accesses will remain open for the immediate future.
