Wind, snow, rain and a lot of fish. The nymph fishing over the past few days has been very good now that the water flow is stable. The water is now flowing at about 6,250 cfs. Both boat fishing and wade fishing is good if you are fishing the slower edges and seams. The key to catching fish in these flows is getting your flies to the bottom and keeping them there. Running enough lead and long leaders will get you into fish.
Effective Patterns: Grey Ray Charles, Firebead Sowbugs, zebra midges and quill nymphs
