Amber with a nice brown that fell for a caddis pupa

We are finally a break from the hot weather with temperature’s in the 60’s today and in the 70’s tomorrow.  Fishing continues to be very good, both on top and underneath.  The PMD hatch was heavy for about 3 hours yesterday on the upper 3 miles.  Tan and Black Caddis had fish rising down low.  On overcast days the streamer fishing has been great with a variety of sizes and colors getting the job done.  Some of the biggest fish being caught right now are being nymphed up in the shallowest of riffles, as fish have moved up to gorge on emerging insects.
