Flows on the river are continuing to drop. They are now down to 9000 cfs and will drop more sometime next week. Look for a lot more wade fishing spots to open up as it hits 8000 cfs.
Dry fly action in the morning and evening on caddis. Standard nymphs (worms, sow bugs) still working well. The hot weather continues to put grasshoppers on the water. As the flows drop, more and more fish will probably be willing to look up since they won’t have as much water to rise through for a meal.
