Dry fly fishing is still really steady on midges and baetis. The baetis are getting thicker in the afternoon.
Effective nymphs right now are tan or grey sow bugs and anything small and black (quill nymph, zebra midge). Midges are pretty small but the baetis are as large as a size 16 and go down to 22 right now.Wonder nymph and killer baetis are also effective right now.
The flow is 2470 cfs and that creates a lot more fishable water this time of year, but fish still aren’t in (or going to be for a while) fast water. Stick to the softer water that has some current and depth.
