Bighorn River Fly Fishing: A Media Event
June 15, 2010 8:46 am Leave your thoughtsYesterday (6/14) the nymph fishing was outstanding on the Bighorn River. Sowbugs and San Juan worms are still the top producing flies. David Dill guided Richard Childress of NASCAR fame (Richard Childress Racing) and his good friend, Ralph. Both of them had an outstanding day, with several double hookups and a number of big fish landed. Mr. Childress was getting some film footage for a television show that will air later this year. The footage should be impressive, as the water was clear, the weather perfect, and the fish cooperative. We’ll let you know when we hear more about the specifics of the television show. Richard and Ralph are fun guys and we hope to see them again later this summer.
