Slight overcast and a decent amount of floating weeds made for some interesting streamer fishing.
Casts had to get down through the floating weeds that are beginning to break away and float down but fish were willing to chase. There were lots of chases and tugs but full on committed attacks were few. Dark and light streamers drew a lot of action. Fishing shallow riffles provided the most exciting fishing. Deeper and slower water just caught mostly floating grass. Both rainbows and browns are willing to chase with some nicer rainbows being caught today.
A few tricos still around but starting to thin and fish are getting picky when they are up. Subsurface fish are still eating worms, sow bugs, pseudos and small black nymphs.
