The flows have been stable for a few days and while fishing was pretty darn good before, it’s getting even better now.
Fish are still eating san juan worms with great enthusiasm. Two-tone, brown, red, dark wine colored ones are all working.
The grey ray charles in both original and soft hackle form are performing quite well also. A tan soft hackle sow bug is working well in the afternoon.
The Bighorn version of the Mother’s Day caddis is underway and fish are noticing.
Found a PMD nymph yesterday so break out the size 16 pheasant tails and other PMD nymphs. Fish will be noticing those as soon as they start to get closer to hatching.
