We are long overdue for a solid fishing report. Yesterday the river produced some extremely intense hatches of Yellow Sallies, Black Caddis and PMD’s throughout the river and the fish were actively feeding on the surface. Nymphing was ok yesterday, the dropping water threw it off a bit.
Today the emergence was a little less intense but the fish ate the nymphs in a big way. Small grey sowbugs, caddis pupa, pmd nymphs and the worm were the ticket. The dry fly fishing was still very good as well. The Bighorn at it’s finest!!!
