The Tan Caddis over the past week has created some exceptional fishing on the lower river. The Black Caddis have really picked up over the past few days as well. Under the bobber fish are eating pupa and larva all day. With the warmer water temperatures now reaching into the upper 50’s, fish have moved into the fastest of riffles. Don’t overlook the extreme tops of riffles no matter how shallow it may be.
PMD’s are still hanging on in the upper river in fishable numbers. Tricos have been productive in certain areas up to 3 mile, but have not really gotten going yet at this point.
