John with a long rainbow caught on a hopper
The dry fly fishing was so good even John from Ohio could catch em. Good PMD Spinner falls in the morning, sallies around noon, and steady hopper fishing added to the mix during the day. The evening caddis were good as well. Caddis Pupa and sowbugs are catching fish sub surface, most of the fish caught on nymphs are being found in the fast water.
Fly Patterns: Rusty Para Spinner, cdc caddis, hemingway caddis, p tails, cripple pmds, tan & yellow hoppers
