A smorgasbord of food continues to be available to the trout. Streamer, nymph and dry fly fishing has been good each day and producing consistent catch rates. Black caddis are now showing themselves in the evening adding to the PMD’s, Yellow Sallies, Tiny Blue Winged Olives, Hoppers and Terrestrials.
Fish have been aggressive and we have had several good reports over the past few days of fish eating soft hackles swung in the runs very well. Pink Soft Hackle sowbugs, small ray charles, pmd nymphs, sally nymphs and midges have been taking fish under the bobber. The dry – dropper rig is a great way to cover all the water well and keep your rod bent.
