Yesterday was the first real overcast day we have had in some time. The BWO hatch really went off in the afternoon especially once the rain/snow storm passed. The BWO hatch has been the best from three mile down, but look for it to get good on the upper 3 here shortly. The daily midge emergence continues to be strong each day. Cdc sparkle duns, tailwater duns, cdc cripple, twilight midges, transitional midges and para adams are all getting in done.
The nymph fishing has been stellar with pink and grey ray charles and killer bugs as top flies with a midge or bwo nymph below. Yong midges, root beer midges, skinny bills, sawyer p tails, black zebras, blood midges, juju baetis and killer mays.
