Nymphing or dry fly, it is predominantly a midge game and will be for a little longer. Dark olive, root beer and black midge nymphs are very effective right now.
For dry flies, a small cluster fly has been doing well trailing behind a baetis. The baetis are about and fish are keying in on them, even during the midge hatch, but midges are still so strong, a midge behind a baetis has been extremely effective.
