The Bighorn is still nymphing quite well. The worm in brown, red and two tone are producing big fish especially in the lower river. Sallies and caddis are also starting to show up as well. Look for heads in back eddies and soft water along the edges. Small grasshoppers are showing up along the banks as well and the warm weather expected over the next week may bring us one step closer to the surface madness.

Enjoy your fishing reports. I will be on the BH 8-58-12 2010. I’ve been following your reports and am wondering if 2010 will be a repeat of the last two years with lots of grass and little surface activity? I realize that you guys are not able to look into the future however the flows, temps rise, this year is not unlike the last two years. I’m still coming however would like your guest-ta-mate. Thanks Joe
