Developed by Charlie Craven of Charlie’s Fly Box in Denver, the Jujubee Midge is a must have for the Bighorn. It is a very durable and highly effective fly for midges. It can be tied in many color variations but effective midge combinations are black/white (zebra), olive/black and brown/black.

It is a great crossover fly too. Add a tail with olive/black or brown/black make a good baetis pattern.

Chartreuse/black is very effective during the black caddis hatch.

All yellow or all olive in size 20 and 22 work well during the pseudo hatch in mid to late summer.

It can be fished as a standard nymph or without weight in the film.
