Fall Streamer Fishing

Fall Streamer Fishing

Streamer fishing continues to be good river wide from top to bottom and river traffic is light.  Some days the fish are really attacking the streamer.  Neutral colors seem to always work well but don’t be afraid to fish big articulated ugly stuff.  Nymphing will continue to be productive as usual.  As water temp’s drop look for the trout to pod up in slower water and concentrate your efforts with your nymphs there.  If an emergence occurs the fish will move up into riffles.

Baetis hatches should hopefully continue throughout the river.
