Bighorn River Fishing Report 6/1

Bighorn River flows are stable at 5000 cfs. The river is super clear, but there is some drifting junk below 3 Mile.  There are still plenty of wade options at this flow.  Most importantly, fish are happy and eating well!

Sowbugs and little Baetis nymphs and Perdigons are the name of the game right now for bobber fishing.  It’s been really good overall with Firebead and Redbead Rays, Pink Bead Cotton Candies, Quills, MacGrubers and Frenchies. A few fish are eating the worm down lower.

The Baetis appear to be on the way out, but if you catch a good cloudy day, the bugs show up and fish are looking up!
