Bighorn River Fishing Report 11/6

Well, it happened.  The lake turned over and the river is GREEN.  Not terrible green, but it’s green!  We’ll need some very cold nights to expedite the colored water coming through, so it might be a bit.

Despite all of that, our guides and local anglers are having good success.  The streamer bite is still on and nymphing has been solid enough.  Orange scuds, Carpet bugs, Tailwaters and the usual winter fare will get fish in the net.

We’re still a ways out from the big brown trout spawn, but be mindful as some fish will start digging beds shortly.

The shop is still open daily from 8 AM – 12/1 ish PM.  We’re around town if you need anything, so don’t hesitate to give us a call!
