Bighorn River Flow Update 7/13

We just got word last night that flows are on the drop.  The Bighorn will be dropping 250 CFS a day until it reaches 2600 CFS, which should be early next week.

Fishing is awesome right now!  Pretty much a subsurface deal, but PMD’s should be right around the corner.  Carpet Bugs, Red Bead Rays, Zebras, Wire Worms and a few PMD style nymphs are getting it done.  There seems to be a late afternoon lull with the heat lately, but it’s all good the rest of the day!
