July 1 – Moss Flush

The Bighorn River watershed got some very timely precipitation over the last week or so and as a result flows will bump up to 3750 CFS by end of Friday and remain there for a week or two.  This should expedite the moss break up we’ve already started to see and flush much of it downstream which should only help the nymph fishing.

When they draw back this release our bet is the Bighorn’s summer hatches will begin to show themselves.  This summer is going to be good.

Here is the proposed schedule over the next couple days, we will let you know if anything changes.

Wednesday 8AM: 3000

Wednesday 4PM: 3250

Thursday 8AM: 3500

Friday: 3750
