There is still some time to go as far gathering our Spring water content in the Bighorn Valley. Currently, the Bighorn River System snowpack is at 97% of normal. This is the number we like to see! We’re just about there folks. Increasing numbers of Baetis are abound and a few more fish are looking up. Water temps are still cooler than normal for this time of year, but the fish are ready to transition into Spring mode. Any day now!

Things have quieted down a bit this past week. There are still a handful of folks around, but it will be ramping up here in about a week. Fishing remains solid, and right now is a matter of finding the fish vs. pattern selection.
