Mid March Bighorn River Report

Winter Mode

It finally got cold, we got a bunch of snow.  By far the largest snowfall amount we’ve seen this year, but doesn’t look like we’ll be dealing with that much longer.

The Winter crowds have slowed down, except on the warmer weekends.  We’re open everyday 8 AM till at least noon or so.   Read more...

Still in full winter mode on the Bighorn, but you wouldn’t believe it with the amount of people and nice weather around.  Maybe consider staying away from the weekends if you want the Bighorn to yourself..  Waterfowl season just wrapped up (geese for another week) so that will take away some pressure as well.
