It’s just about there! I know I keep saying this every week, but it really is this time. We had a couple really solid days this past week with good amounts of fish looking up for Baetis. We’re just about there folks. Increasing numbers of Baetis are abound and a few more fish are looking up. Water temps are still cooler than normal for this time of year, but the fish are ready to transition into Spring mode. Any day now!

Things have quieted down a bit this past week. There are still a handful of folks around, but it will be ramping up here in about a week. Fishing remains solid, and right now is a matter of finding the fish vs. pattern selection. It finally got cold, we got a bunch of snow. By far the largest snowfall amount we’ve seen this year, but doesn’t look like we’ll be dealing with that much longer.
